<h4>During our performances, we're in charge of the musical programming of special events. This implies possessing a good musical knowledge, technique and feeling with the audience with whom we share music.
Our purpose is to get involved in the project of our clients fulfilling their wishes while giving it our own personal DJ touch. </h4>
<h4>Our interventions are multiple. As DJs, we create musical atmospheres (private viewing, opening night), or animate dancing parties (works committees, club parties).
Regularly, we're asked to adapt to a particular theme. </h4>
<h4>DJ Battle. Here is a catchy name. It refers to a show, because it is a true performance.
DJ Battle is an evolution in the DJ performance. Each artist possesses his own turntables and a sound mixer. They all play together melodies, rhythms, songs that assemble and overlap. The whole is completed with scratching for the sake of the show.
The material used is a double DJ control centre with vinyl and CD turntables, and sound mixer. </h4>
<h4>DJ Kin'z was brought up with Funk... Michael Jackson (Off The Wall), Delegation (Eau De Vie), Georges Benson (Collection) or Dtrain rocked his first sessions.
He then discovered Hip-Hop through young bands such as De La Soul and their title "Say No Go" or "Push It" by the three rap girls of Salt&Pepa.
These pieces had a bomb effect on the dancefloors of the time and everyone had their eyes on DJing. With the first Mix Tapes by CutKiller, New Jack arrived in Paris, which would lead to R'n'B. Its leading artists were BlackStreet (U Blow My Mind), Groove theory (Tell Me) or Brandy.
In this musical background, Kin'z was proposed the residence at the Cosmos Café on the boulevard Montparnasse, after one audition. It was 1995. At this time the place was a precursor, in what would become, a few years later, a real trend -that of "Bar Clubs" with DJs. Everybody in Paris knew this place where you could have some cocktails while listening to a DJ mixing. Through his selection and his energy, Kin'z brought his own personal touch. A loyal audience came to listen to him and contacts multiplied. The thing was launched, music would do the rest.
The Bains, the Dupleix, the Red Light, the Nirvana, the Six Seven, the Batofar, and many other places, are like wonderful laboratories to him and like so many inextinguishable sources of inspiration. He uses all this energy for special events such as the parties for Hermès, Ernst & Young, Oxbow. He lends his experience and DJ culture to major brands. Today, he collaborates with musicians to create "<a href="live.htm">Live & DJ</a>" sets, for more pleasure and more groove.</h4>
<h4>The musical background of DJ Yohm started at the age of 10 on the benches of the conservatoire. As a teenager, he discovered electronic music and laid his hands on a DJ turntable for the first time in London.
Since, Yohm has played in front of an audience at the Elysée Montmartre, the Batofar, the Folie's Pigalle or the Nirvana. In parallel he opened to new musical styles. The House and Electro music of his beginnings now mixes with Nu Soul, Funk and Disco.
That's the kind of culture that makes a difference in the world of special events. During Lounge or Dancefloor parties for Hermès, Disneyland or French TV, Yohm builds warm and groovy mixes without playing only super hits. Thanks to his technique, he's able to juggle with styles and mixes well-known sounds with more original productions.
Nowadays his collaboration with the percussionist Diego during "<a href="live.htm">Live & DJ</a>" performances represents a new turning point in his career as a DJ.</h4>
<h4>DJ St Gilles is a man with many interests. Though a trained architect/town-planner, he chose another one of his passions as his job: DJ. Thanks to his experience in many bars and clubs, he is able to play various musical styles from Disco, to Funk, as well as Hip Hop, and Nu Jazz, House and Electro.
His knowledge of music software and Live equipment helps him carry out projects that go beyond the frame of DJing, such as was the case during the performance for BNP Paribas during the French Open at Roland Garros.
In parallel to his performances as a DJ, St Gilles performs for the « <a href="live.htm">Live & DJ</a>" concept.</h4>
